Biomass to power 6,3 MWe

A gasification project was realized for our client in Usk, Wales, where a combination of 9 Guascor combined heat and power (CHP) engines produced up to 6,3 MWe.

The gasifier is designed for wood chips as fuel and equipped with several specific gas treatment applications for upgrading the gas to clean gas ready for running the Guascor CHP's to produce electricity and heat.

Dordtech has engineered, supplied and constructed the CHP sets and commissioned the installation at location in Usk.
