Direct Port Injection

For our client in Birmingham we are working on an installation with direct port injection running on synthetic gas.

With direct port injection of the gas into the combusting chamber of the engine, we expect to increase the efficiency of the synthetic gas with 5 to 10%. High temperature gas is injected after closure of the gas valve and with longer combusting time. This is resulting is prevention of loss of valuable gas and will have high combustion ratio’s.

This new development in the combustion technic makes Dordtech a very innovative and specialistic organization in this field.

This installation in Birmingham is running on a Deutz TCG 2032 v12 engine, where Dordtech relocated the engine and is providing the complete engineering and commissioning.
